  • Evaluate the contractor’s plans for site installations and temporary facilities, ensuring prompt mobilization activities.
  • Organize and participate in regular site meetings, maintain site records, and keep a site diary.
  • Examine materials delivered to the site, ensuring they meet approved specifications and are properly stored.
  • Attend tests at manufacturers’ premises locally or abroad if necessary, at the contractor’s expense. Evaluate test results/certificates for compliance with contract requirements.
  • Provide feedback to the contractor on completed works and issue relevant site instructions to ensure compliance with all contract terms and conditions.
  • Inspect materials and fieldwork for compliance with contract documents.
  • Ensure the contractor enforces proper quality control systems, procedures, and requirements, including any field and laboratory tests.
  • Oversee the implementation of local safety and health regulations and conduct workplace safety inspections.
  • Initiate and participate in progress and coordination meetings with the contractor, subcontractors, and other relevant parties.
  • Supervise and inspect all work conducted by the contractor on site.
  • Attend testing, commissioning, and handover of the works and receive final contract documentation.
  • Assist the client during the maintenance period in training aspects and ensure rectification of snags (additional fees apply).
  • Collaborate with the client’s representative on key matters related to the master program, progress, and completion.
  • Review procedures for maintenance manuals and training.
  • Prepare snagging lists for the project, including a list of outstanding items, after receiving a letter from the contractor confirming the schedule for addressing comments and snags.
